Till the End

Finished DH early this morning after a minor reading marathon. And all I can say right now is that it was brilliant. Even better than I had hoped it would be, in fact.

I am already planning to write my thoughts on certain parts of the book (or maybe on the book as a whole) once I've had some time to calm down and recover from the awesome madness that is DH.

Oh, and I do believe the ship can safely sail on.

PS: mustntgetmy, didn't I tell you that meme was full of spoilers? ; )

I'm enjoying my copy to no end, though I want to have it finished by tomorrow if I can. I started my new job today, which threw off my reading schedule. XD;

SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel bad for Hedwig. Poor bird got fried way too close to the beginning of the book. And poor Moody got sapped too. ):

DH really is amazing. I still think OotP is the best written of all the HP books, but this one is extremely satisfying as well. Especially the ending - I can't wait till you get there, too! ; )

Anyway, hope the job's going well. It had better be worth messing with your reading.

Poor Moody, yeah. Though I was almost certain he would snuff it in this book. Me and mustntgetmy both did the same prediction meme and said that he'd die, but what she saw coming while I didn't was Hedwig's death. I'd never have thought about that! And it happened almost in the beginning.

Oh, not I'm even more anxious to finish the book! XD

The job went well. It was only my fist day though. You can get the details of the day, plus my move, in my LJ. (I finally undated today. ^_^; )

I kind of thought he would too, but not so close to the beginning. I freaked out when I thought Hagrid died though and yelled "Hell no!" quite loudly, disturbing my family. lol Hedwig's death struck me because I love animals. It looks like Harry will be feeling a lot of guilt in this book.

Exactly what I was going for...read on, read on! XDD

Okay, I'll look at the details as you say.

I yelled out at one point myself, but thankfully that was when only my sis was around so I didn't startle anyone else. Otherwise, I was pretty silent about my shocks/feelings. I'm very good at noiseless crying, for example. xD

Believe me, this is not the first time you're freaking out over Hagrid. He seems to be in constant danger in this book...but I shall not say any more, mwahaha!

Geez, "Dare Devil Hagrid"? lol XD

Sort of...and also Hunted Hagrid! XD

Woot! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

And about the meme...I'm afraid I cannot be modest when it comes to my Snape/Lily prediction, but you definitely pwned on the case of Neville or Harry surviving OR Malfoy or Snape surviving. I was very, very wrong when it came to Snape surviving. Good call.

I did! It was a great ending of the series. <3

No, you definitely can't be modest about that. Or about Hedwig, for that matter! And thanks for reminding me of some of my successful predictions - I'm going to repost the meme later to see what I else got right or wrong or half-right. Now that's going to be fun.

I just had a feeling about Hedwig. Like, something with fur or feathers has got to bite it; now who is it going to be...

Well, it was still a damn accurate feeling, apparently. Poor Hedwig, though...
